At last there is help for those programming in Panorama, the fabulous db programming environment created by Jim Rea and ProVUE Development. PanoMAGIC is a full featured procedure editor and utilities suite custom designed for those of us spending our hours creating solutions with Panorama. By adding scads of enhancements to the standard procedure editor, PanoMAGIC will fast become invaluable for convenience, time savings and information gathering. Look at some of the features PanoMAGIC adds to the bare bones procedure editor:

Fully functional "Undo" in the procedure editor...no more lost lines of code!
All the standard insertable commands & functions from either category or alphabetical lists.
Now when inserting commands or functions, only the first parameter is highlighted for editing instead of all of them.
Insertable lists of fields, forms, procedures and global variables from ALL open files.
New custom lookup editors for ALL the different lookup & table types. Watch your code being built as you edit.
An additional View Port to display secondary information and data. Will show the data from any field, procedure or a global variable of any open file. Can also be set to view the clipboard, the documentation or the ScratchPad (a permanent custom depository for your data).
Insertable list with the higher ASCII characters.
A custom insertable list called "MyStuff" for things you always want available.
Dynamic links to the On-Line Reference file...option select a command or function and get the info directly!
The Window Wizard to position, size, set options and type of your next window & then it writes the code!
The Funnel Wizard to experiment with funnels or have the wizard search from over 5000 combinations.
Color and Fillpattern Pickers for custom colors and fills with insertable, generated code output.
The Keyboard Wizard gives you ALL the information available from and about your keyboard.
Alerts/Dialogs utility to view and select from all the installed alerts and dialogs.
A Menu Wizard that will allow you to pick from any installed menu resource (custom or standard), view its contents and configure and then preview custom menus. Your final custom menu string is saved to the clipboard.
The ability to add or insert a new field in the currently active file directly from the editor.
Run your procedure directly from the editor.
Print out the current procedure or automatically print out ALL the procedures from the active file.
Create new archive files with the date and text of all the procedures from the active file. Update archive files anytime changes are made and you will maintain a full history of all your procedure changes over the course of time. Archives are separate files that offer insurance should corruption occur to the parent file.
A little macro that will open a file with a broken .Initialize procedure without letting it execute.

There is full documentation on board as well as extensive balloon help to familiarize you with the features as quickly as possible. Use the trial copy free for 30 days and see if you don't agree it's worth the $35 US for full registration. As a registered PanoMAGIC user, you will receive a permanent serial number and be eligible for all future updates as they are available. At this time, PanoMAGIC is only available for Macintosh users.
